Liz West Biography
Liz West (born 1985) is a British visual artist known for her site-specific artworks, sculpture, and immersive light art installations. She graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2007. West's work focuses on combining color and light to enhance sensory awareness and create unique experiences for viewers. She has exhibited and been commissioned by prestigious organizations and institutions such as the Natural History Museum, National Trust, National Science and Media Museum, Dubai Design Week, and Bristol Biennial. In 2018, West unveiled her permanent public commission titled 'Colour Transfer' in London, featuring angled colored mirrors under Paddington Central's Westway Bridge. She was also a finalist for the Aesthetica Art Prize in 2016.
