LJ Parkinson Biography
LJ Parkinson, also known as Lucy Jane Parkinson, is a British actor and drag king. They studied performing arts at Rotherham College of Arts and Technology and contemporary theatre and performance at Manchester Metropolitan University. Later, they obtained an MA in contemporary performance making from Brunel University London. Parkinson gained recognition for their role as Joan of Arc and other male characters in the play 'Joan', performed at various venues including Camden People's Theatre, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (winning a Scotsman Fringe First award and The Stage award), Oval House Theatre, and Spazju Kreattiv in Malta. They were also part of the cast in Milk Presents' production 'Bullish' in 2017. Parkinson has made significant contributions to the theatrical world with their unique performances.
