Louis Bernard

Louis Bernard, OQ, born on July 27, 1937, is a Canadian politician and former public servant from Quebec. He is best known for his roles as Chief of Staff to Parti Québécois Premier René Lévesque and Secretary General of the Government to Parti Québécois Premiers Réne Lévesque and Jacques Parizeau. In 2005, Bernard participated in the Parti Québécois leadership election and finished fourth with 5.5% of the vote.
