Luenell Campbell, known professionally as Luenell, is an American comedian and actress. Born on March 12, 1959, she gained popularity in the early 1990s, appearing regularly on Soul Beat TV on KSBT, a cable station in Oakland, California. Luenell has also worked alongside prominent Bay Area African-American journalist Chauncey Bailey. In addition to her comedy career, she has ventured into acting. Luenell is married to her husband, referred to as Mr. Rarely, and they have a daughter named Da'Nelle. Notably, Luenell holds the distinction of being the only black female comedian to have a residency on the Las Vegas Strip starting in 2023.
