Luis Castaneda

Luis Castaneda, born on 29 July 1943 in Havana, Cuba, is a Cuban landscape photographer. From 1964 to 1979, he collaborated with various organizations in Cuba, including Ballet Nacional de Cuba and the Ministry of Culture. In 1979, he moved to Spain and worked with the stock agency 'The Image Bank,' traveling throughout Europe. He also collaborated with Spanish periodical publishers and government organizations like the Ministry of Tourism and Radio Televisión Española. Castaneda received the 'Ortiz-Echagüe' Award for his 'tourist' images. Since 1986, he has been residing in Miami, Florida, USA, and has worked with organizations like The National Fund for Advancement in the Arts and ballet companies such as Miami City Ballet and Ballet Concerto.
