Luke Treadaway Biography
Luke Antony Newman Treadaway is a British actor and singer. Born on September 10, 1984, in Exeter, he was raised in Sandford, Devon. Treadaway's father is an architect and his mother a primary school teacher. He has two brothers, including his slightly younger twin, actor Harry. Luke attended Queen Elizabeth's Community College in Crediton, where he played scrum half in the school's successful rugby union team. Treadaway's acting career began with a role in the village Christmas pantomime. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Christopher in the National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, for which he won an Olivier Award for Best Leading Actor in 2013. Treadaway has also been nominated for an Evening Standard Theatre Award.
