Maggie Steed

Maggie Steed (born Margaret Baker; 1 December 1946) is an English actress and comedian. She studied drama at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol before taking a break from acting and working as a secretary. Steed returned to acting later in life and has since had a successful career on stage and screen. She has performed with prestigious theatre companies such as the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Steed is known for her roles in various television shows, including Shine on Harvey Moon, Pie in the Sky, Born and Bred, Fox, Minder, Sensitive Skin, and Jam and Jerusalem. She is also a talented comedian. Steed continues to be active in the entertainment industry and has garnered critical acclaim for her work.
