Manuel Herrera

Manuel G. Herrera (3 December 1936 – 21 October 2007) was an American politician and businessman. He served as a Democratic member of the New Mexico House of Representatives from 1999 to 2007. Prior to his political career, Herrera attended Western New Mexico University. He also held the positions of Mayor of Bayard, New Mexico and served on the city council. Sadly, Herrera passed away on 21 October 2007 after battling prostate cancer.
