Marcus Brandon Biography
Marcus Brandon is a politician and former member of the North Carolina House of Representatives. Born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Brandon graduated from Southern Guilford High School in 1993 and later attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where he studied political science. He worked as a political consultant for NGP Software and served as the national finance director for Dennis Kucinich's 2008 presidential campaign. In January 2011, Brandon began representing the 60th district in the North Carolina House of Representatives, serving until the end of 2014. Currently, he is the executive director of NorthCarolinaCan, a nonprofit education policy and advocacy organization.
