He is the second oldest child of retired Hall of Fame basketball player Michael Jordan. Born on December 24, 1990, to Michael Jordan and Juanita Vanoy, Marcus grew up in Highland Park, Illinois. In 2010, while a college sophomore, he faced controversy after tweeting about spending approximately $50,000 at nightclubs in Las Vegas. He later faced legal trouble in 2012 when he was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstructing justice. Marcus Jordan has also ventured into entrepreneurship, opening a high-end sneaker store.
