Marcus King (born March 11, 1996) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He gained recognition as the lead singer, guitarist, and founder of The Marcus King Band. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, King comes from a musical family, with his father being a well-known blues guitarist and his grandfather also a popular musician. King started playing guitar at a young age and began performing with his father at the age of eight. As a teenager, he formed his own band, blending elements of soul, psychedelia, and Southern rock. King's 2020 album, El Dorado, received a Grammy nomination for Best Americana Album.
