Margot Kidder Biography
Margot Kidder (October 17, 1948 – May 13, 2018) was a Canadian-American actress. She began her acting career in the 1960s and gained recognition for her role as Lois Lane in the Superman film series. Kidder appeared in the first four Superman films and became widely known for her portrayal of the character. Throughout her career, she received several accolades, including three Canadian Screen Awards and one Daytime Emmy Award. Kidder also appeared in other notable films such as Sisters (1973), Black Christmas (1974), and The Great Waldo Pepper (1975). She was born in Yellowknife and raised in the Northwest Territories and various Canadian provinces.
