Mario Vazquez

Mario Vazquez is an American singer known for his appearance on American Idol's fourth season, which aired in 2005. Born on June 15, 1977, in The Bronx, New York City, Vazquez was raised by his single mother, Ada. He attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and was involved in the CityKids Repertory Company in New York City. In 2005, Vazquez unexpectedly dropped out of American Idol, citing personal family reasons, just before the finals began.
