Mark Buckland

Mark Buckland (born 18 August 1961) is an English former footballer who played in the Football League for Wolverhampton Wanderers. He began his football career with Cheltenham Town and later signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1984. Buckland made 41 appearances and scored five goals during his only full season at Molineux, 1984-85. Although his time in league football was brief, he made a notable contribution to the club. Buckland continued playing football and even celebrated his 50th birthday while still on the field, playing for Bishop's Cleeve 3rd team in 2011. He has since retired from professional football.
