Mark Byrne

Mark Byrne (born 9 November 1988) is an Irish footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Crumlin United. He started his professional career at Nottingham Forest, signing with the club in July 2007. Byrne made his debut for Forest in April 2008, coming on as a substitute in a 3–1 victory against Cheltenham Town. He played a role in Forest's promotion to the Championship for the 2008–09 season. In March 2009, Byrne was sent on loan to Burton Albion, where he featured in several fixtures. He later joined Rushden & Diamonds in July 2009. Byrne's impressive career includes appearances at various clubs and continues to contribute to his current team, Crumlin United.
