Mark Gibson
Mark Gibson (born August 14, 1957) is an American stock car racing driver and team owner. He is known for his long-time participation in the ARCA Racing Series and occasional appearances in NASCAR competition. Gibson co-founded the ARCA team Cunningham Motorsports. Born in Richlands, Virginia, Gibson grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida, and graduated from Mainland High School in 1975. He began his racing career in 1974, competing in races at Volusia County Speedway and winning the championship at New Smyrna Speedway in 1979. Gibson joined the ARCA Racing Series in 1981, winning the Rookie of the Year title in 1986. He currently resides in Winder, Georgia, with his wife Jan and daughter Michelle.
