Mark Giordano
Mark Giordano (born October 3, 1983) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL. He previously played with the Calgary Flames for fifteen seasons, serving as team captain for his last eight seasons. Giordano was also the captain of the Seattle Kraken during the first six months of their inaugural season. He signed with the Flames as a free agent in 2004 after playing two seasons of major junior ice hockey with the Owen Sound Attack. Known for his leadership and skills on both offense and defense, Giordano has been named to the NHL All-Star Game and received the J. R. 'Bud' McCaig Award for his charitable contributions.
