Mark Price Biography
Mark Price, born William Mark Price on February 15, 1964, is a former American basketball player and coach. He played for 12 seasons in the NBA from 1986 to 1998, primarily with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Price also had stints with the Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors, and Orlando Magic. Standing at 6 feet (183 cm) tall, he played college basketball at Georgia Tech, where he achieved great success. Price was a two-time All American and four-time All ACC player, helping lead the Yellow Jackets to an ACC Championship in 1985. He was named the ACC Player of the Year and had his jersey retired. Price was inducted into Georgia Tech's Hall of Fame in 1991 and the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.
