    Mark Ruiz (born April 9, 1979) is an Olympic diver from Puerto Rico. He represented the United States in the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. At the age of 9, Ruiz started diving and later moved to the U.S. at 12 to access better training. In 1999, he made history by winning all three events at the spring nationals, becoming the first diver since Greg Louganis in 1988 to achieve this. Ruiz graduated from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida, where he was a member of the swimming and diving team, winning the individual state championship all four years. In addition to individual diving, Ruiz also competes in synchronized diving events.
