Marla Olmstead

Marla Olmstead (born 2000) is an abstract artist from Binghamton, New York. She gained international media attention at the age of four for her impressive artwork. Her abstract paintings have reached sizes of up to five feet square and have sold for tens of thousands of US dollars. In 2005, a 60 Minutes II story brought her initial publicity, sparking speculation about the authenticity of her work and whether she collaborated with her father. These controversies were further explored in the 2007 documentary, My Kid Could Paint That. Marla's artistic journey began at the age of two when her father, Mark Olmstead, gave her paint as a diversion. Her artworks have since been displayed in local establishments and garnered significant recognition.
