Martha Raddatz (born February 14, 1953) is an American reporter and the Chief Global Affairs Correspondent for ABC News. She is known for her work on ABC's World News Tonight with David Muir, Nightline, and other network broadcasts. Raddatz is also a frequent guest on PBS's Washington Week. She co-anchors and serves as the primary fill-in anchor on This Week with George Stephanopoulos. Prior to joining ABC News, Raddatz worked as the chief correspondent at the ABC News Boston affiliate and covered the Pentagon for National Public Radio. She has reported extensively from Iraq and has written for The New Republic. Raddatz was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and attended the University of Utah before starting her career in broadcasting.
