Martin Samuel (born July 25, 1964) is an English sports columnist and journalist. He has worked for various prominent publications including The Daily Mail, The Times, and News of the World. With a career spanning over several national newspapers in the UK, Samuel has established himself as a respected sports writer. He was recognized with numerous accolades, including Sports Writer of the Year at the British Press Awards in 2007 and Sports Journalist of the Year at the British Sports Journalism Awards in 2005, 2006, and 2007. Samuel has also appeared as a guest on the Sunday Supplement television show. In January 2023, he joined News UK, which owns The Times, Sunday Times, and TalkSPORT.
