Marvin Nathan Kaye (March 10, 1938 – May 13, 2021) was an American author, editor, and magician. He was known for his work in the genres of mystery, fantasy, science fiction, and horror. Kaye was a World Fantasy Award winner and co-publisher and editor of Weird Tales Magazine. In addition to his writing career, he also had an interest in acting and performed as an actor. Kaye had a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts and a Master of Arts in English literature and theater. He worked as a reporter, editor, and freelance writer before becoming a lecturer and adjunct professor at various institutions. Kaye's contributions to literature and the arts are highly regarded.
