Mason Cox (born March 14, 1991) is an American-Australian professional Australian rules footballer known for his impressive career with the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Standing at a towering 211 cm (6 ft 11 in), Cox is the tallest player ever measured at an AFL Draft Combine. Prior to his AFL debut in April 2016, Cox played basketball for Oklahoma State University in the Big 12 Conference. He excelled in the ruckman and key forward positions, showcasing his versatility and athleticism. Cox was born in Highland Village, Texas and attended Edward S. Marcus High School, where he played soccer and was part of the state championship-winning team. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in engineering in 2014.
