Matt McCooey (born May 27, 1981) is a British-Japanese actor known for his role as DC Bill Wong in the television series Agatha Raisin. He was born in Nagoya, Japan, to author and journalist Chris McCooey and Kumiko Aoki. McCooey studied acting at Aberystwyth University and later trained at the Drama Studio, London, graduating in 2004. He has appeared in several Shakespeare productions, including Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, King Lear, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. McCooey made his screen debut in the popular show EastEnders and has also appeared in Doctors, Skins, and Invizimals. In 2020, he joined the voice cast as Kenji in the UK and US versions.
