Matt Paxton

Matt Paxton (born Matthew Jeffrey Paxton; May 26, 1985) is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario. In 2009, he released his debut album, 'Back Home in the Village,' which featured a hazy, Daniel Lanois-esque vibe that set him apart from other troubadours. Paxton's songs are known for their descriptive sense and relatability to gritty, working-class life. Throughout his career, he has toured and played with notable artists such as Evan Dando, Jason Collett, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, and Chad VanGaalen. Paxton continues to make his mark in the music industry with his heartfelt and introspective songwriting.
