Matt Price Biography
Matt Price (15 October 1961 – 25 November 2007) was an Australian journalist and newspaper columnist. He was educated at Newman College and the University of Western Australia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984. Price worked for the Albany Advertiser and Perth's Daily News before joining The Australian newspaper as a member of the Canberra Press Gallery. He wrote a regular column called 'The Sketch' that provided a humorous perspective on parliamentary proceedings. Price also had a career in television, including stints at Channel Nine and Sky News, and often appeared as a guest on ABC's Insiders. He was a dedicated supporter of the Fremantle Dockers AFL team and frequently wrote columns about them in The Australian. Price compiled his best work in a book titled 'Way to Go: Sadness, Euphoria and...'
