The Lego Batman Movie is a 2017 animated superhero comedy film that follows a cooler-than-ever Bruce Wayne, who must deal with the usual suspects planning to rule Gotham City. In the process, he accidentally adopts a teenage orphan who wishes to become his sidekick. Directed by Chris McKay, the film features a collaboration between production houses from the United States, Australia, and Denmark. It is a spin-off in The Lego Movie franchise and the second installment overall. The cast includes Will Arnett reprising his role as Batman, alongside Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, and Ralph Fiennes.
