Mauricio Suarez

Mauricio Suárez is a Spanish anglophone philosopher specializing in philosophy and history of the natural sciences. He holds a BSc in astrophysics from the University of Edinburgh (1991) and an MSc and PhD in philosophy of science from the London School of Economics (1992 and 1997 respectively). His doctoral thesis focused on the semantics of quantum theory. Currently, Suárez is a professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science at Complutense University of Madrid. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including junior lecturer at the University of Oxford, teaching and research fellow at the University of St Andrews, and permanent lecturer at the University of Bristol. Suárez has made significant contributions to the field of philosophy and has a strong academic background.
