Max Minghella Biography
Max Minghella (born September 16, 1985) is an English actor known for his roles in films such as Syriana (2005), Art School Confidential (2006), and The Social Network (2010). He has also appeared in television shows, most notably as Nick Blaine in The Handmaid's Tale (2017–present), which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2021. Minghella was born in Hampstead, London, to director Anthony Minghella and dancer Carolyn Jane Choa. Raised in a creative environment, he spent time on his father's film sets but felt no pressure to succeed in the industry. Minghella attended St Anthony's Preparatory School and University College School in Hampstead.
