Melanie Hebert Biography
Melanie Ann Hebert is an American journalist and television personality. Born in Marrero, Louisiana, United States, Hebert started her TV career behind the scenes in Los Angeles with the entertainment news magazine Extra. She later joined WVLA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Baton Rouge, as a news anchor and reporter, where she covered Hurricane Katrina and co-anchored a special on the Olympics. Hebert's success led her to become the morning and noon anchor for KESQ-TV in Palm Springs. She then anchored the weekday morning news at WDSU, the NBC affiliate in New Orleans, and later moved to WWL-TV, the CBS affiliate, where she anchored weekday mornings. In addition to her journalism career, Hebert has appeared in various films and TV shows as a news reporter.
