Melissa Hickey (born 18 December 1984) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Melbourne Football Club and the Geelong Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Throughout her career, Hickey showcased her skills as a versatile player. In the Victorian Women's Football League/VFL Women's, she played for the St Albans Spurs and Geelong, winning seven premierships and representing Victoria three times. Hickey was a marquee signing for Melbourne in the inaugural AFL Women's season and was selected in the AFL Women's All-Australian team in 2017. She also represented Victoria in the AFL Women's State of Origin match. After the 2018 season, Hickey joined Geelong as the team's captain in their first two AFL Women's seasons.
