Mia Riverton is an American film actress and producer, best known for her role in the 2005 film Red Doors. Born Esther Tonia Riggin on November 22, 1977, in Columbus, Ohio, she grew up in Carmel, Indiana. Riverton attended the Park Tudor School and graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University in 1999. She is the daughter of Alice Riggin, an immigrant from Taiwan, and Ralph Riggin, of Irish and Cherokee descent. In 2007, she married David Alpert in Fiji. Riverton has also showcased her singing talents at Carnegie Hall and has appeared in other films like 13 Dead Men (2003).
