Michael Chandler

Michael Chandler, born April 24, 1986, is an American professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Chandler gained notoriety while competing for Bellator MMA from 2010 through 2020, becoming a three-time Bellator Lightweight Champion and the winner of the Bellator Season Four Lightweight Tournament. He is currently ranked #5 in the UFC lightweight rankings. Chandler was born and raised in High Ridge, Missouri and is of German and Irish heritage. In high school, he excelled academically, made significant achievements in football, and finished as the runner-up at the MSHSAA State Championships in wrestling, earning the Most Valuable Wrestler title and a spot on the All-St. Louis Team.
