Michael Crawford

Michael Crawford, born Michael Patrick Smith on January 19, 1942, is an English actor, comedian, and singer. He gained popularity for his role as Frank Spencer in the sitcom Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em and as the titular character in the musical The Phantom of the Opera. His performance in the musical earned him the Laurence Olivier Award and Tony Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical. Crawford has showcased his talent in both film and television, and has performed on London's West End and on Broadway. He is also a published author, with his autobiography Parcel Arrived Safely: Tied With String. Crawford is known for his involvement with the Sick Children's Trust, serving as its leader and public face since 1987.
