Michael Kosta

Michael Kosta (born September 27, 1979) is an American stand-up comedian and television personality. He gained prominence as a correspondent on The Daily Show, where he joined in July 2017. Kosta also hosted The Comment Section for the E! Network alongside producer Joel McHale and co-hosted Fox Sports 1's Crowd Goes Wild. Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Kosta attended the University of Illinois, earning a bachelor's degree in Speech Communications in 2002. Prior to his comedy career, he played tennis professionally on the ITF and ATP tour. Kosta has made notable appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan, Chelsea Lately, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and has performed stand-up comedy in various venues across the United States.
