Michael Lewis

Michael Monroe Lewis is an American author and financial journalist, born on October 15, 1960. He is known for his nonfiction work, particularly his coverage of financial crises and behavioral finance. Lewis graduated from Princeton University with a degree in art history and later attended the London School of Economics. He started his career on Wall Street as a bond salesman at Salomon Brothers during the 1980s. This experience led him to write his first book, 'Liar's Poker' (1989). Lewis has written several bestselling books, including 'Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game' (2003) and 'The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine' (2010), which was adapted into a film. He is also a contributing editor to Vanity Fair since 2009.
