Michael McCusker Biography
Michael McCusker is an American film editor born on June 23, 1966. He has been nominated twice for the Academy Award for Best Film Editing, for 'Walk the Line' (2005) and 'Ford v Ferrari' (2019), winning the latter. McCusker frequently collaborates with director James Mangold. He attended New Canaan High School in Connecticut, where he developed a passion for filmmaking. McCusker then obtained a bachelor of fine arts degree in film theory and production from Emerson College in 1988. After graduating, he moved to West Hollywood, California, where he worked as a production assistant and later ventured into television series editing.
