Michael Spound Biography
Michael David Spound (born April 8, 1957) is an American actor and writer. He was born in Santa Monica, California and later moved to Massachusetts with his parents and siblings. He began his acting career with the Concord Players, performing in various plays. Spound attended The Fenn School and Phillips Academy Andover before studying Theatre and Film at Northwestern University. In 1981, he landed the lead role in the Paramount/ABC TV pilot Homeroom. He also co-wrote the feature film Wacko in 1981. Spound has made guest appearances in television series such as Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Family Ties, and Teachers Only. He is best known for his role as Dave Kendall in the television series Dynasty, which he portrayed from 1983 to 1989.
