Michelle Bowman

Michelle White Bowman, also known as Miki Bowman, is an American attorney and former member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. Born on May 25, 1971, in Hawaii, Bowman grew up in various locations due to her father's career in the U.S. Air Force. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Journalism at the University of Kansas and earned her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 1996. Prior to her position on the Federal Reserve Board, Bowman served as the Kansas banking commissioner and held senior staff positions at the Federal Emergency Management Agency and Department of Homeland Security during the George W. Bush administration.
