Michelle Collins

Michelle Danielle Collins (born 28 May 1962) is an English actress best known for her roles as Cindy Beale in the BBC soap opera EastEnders and Stella Price in ITV's Coronation Street. She has also appeared in other notable TV shows such as Real Women (1998–1999), Sunburn (1999–2000), and Two Thousand Acres of Sky (2001–2003). Born in Hackney, east London, to a Welsh mother and a father of English and Flemish heritage, Collins grew up with her sister in Highbury, London. She trained at the Royal Court Activists and Cockpit Youth Theatre and has had a successful career in both soap operas and dramas.
