Michelle Lenhardt Biography
Michelle Lenhardt (born May 27, 1980) is a Brazilian swimmer who specialized in freestyle events. She graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul with a degree in advertising. Lenhardt competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, representing Brazil in the women's 4×100-metre freestyle relay. She swam on the third leg of the relay alongside her teammates Flávia Cazziolato, Tatiana Barbosa, and Monique Ferreira. Lenhardt earned her spot at the Olympics after Rebeca Gusmao, who was initially selected, was cut due to a doping suspension. Lenhardt is known by her nickname Mischa and is the first female swimmer from Rio Grande do Sul to compete in the Olympics.
