Mickey O'Sullivan Biography
Mickey O'Sullivan, also known as Mickey 'Ned' O'Sullivan, is an Irish former Gaelic football manager, selector, and player. Born on April 14, 1952, in Kenmare, County Kerry, O'Sullivan had a successful career playing for the Kerry county team for ten seasons from 1971 to 1980. He was educated at Coláiste Íosagáin in Ballyvourney and played Gaelic football during his studies at University College Dublin. O'Sullivan achieved several victories with the Kenmare club team, winning three county intermediate championship medals and two county senior championship medals. He began his inter-county career playing for the Kerry minor team and later joined the Kerry under-21 team, winning an All-Ireland medal as captain in 197.
