Mike Burstyn

Mike Burstyn, born Michael Burstein on July 1, 1945, is an Israeli-American actor known for his stage performances. Born in New York City to Yiddish-language actors Pesach Burstein and Lillian Lux, Burstyn started his acting career at a young age, performing in musicals and melodramas produced by his father. He later ventured beyond the Yiddish stage and gained recognition for his appearances on television in the United States, Israel, and the Netherlands. Burstyn has also showcased his talent on Broadway and the Israeli stage. Notably, he had his own show, 'De Mike Burstyn Show' from 1978 to 1981. Burstyn has appeared in various film and TV productions throughout his career.
