Mike Catapano

Mike Catapano Jr. is a former American football outside linebacker. He was born on August 17, 1990, in Bayville, New York. Catapano played college football at Princeton, where he majored in psychology. He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs and began his professional career with them. After two seasons in Kansas City, he went on to spend two seasons with the New York Jets. Catapano, nicknamed "The Admiral", attended Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York, where he played both fullback and defensive end. Despite facing challenges with shoulder surgeries in high school, he graduated weighing 215 lbs and received offers from every Ivy League school.
