Mike Cochrane Biography
Mike Cochrane is a musician and actor known for his work in the 1970s. He played in bands such as Train, Shango, and several others during that time. Cochrane's band, Train, had a notable stint as the 'House Band' at Gazzarris on the Sunset Strip from 1971 to 1972. It was during this period that he met Edward James Olmos and Rick Vito. Additionally, Cochrane participated in recording sessions for Warner Bros. in the 70s and played with musicians Tim Bogert and Mickey McMeel in a power trio. Apart from his musical career, he made his acting debut as a second engineer in the movie The Rose, starring Bette Midler and Alan Bates. In the 80s, Cochrane continued to play in bands and also pursued studio work. Currently, he is active in the acting industry and has appeared in TV shows such as My Name Is Earl, Dexter, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Riches, Monk, ER, Weeds, Moonlight, CSI: NY, Flaked, and more.
