Mike Masters
Mike Masters is an American former professional soccer player who played as a forward. He was born on April 26, 1967, in Leesville, Louisiana. Masters is known for being the first American to score a goal in Wembley Stadium. He played one season in the American Soccer League and three seasons in its successor, the American Professional Soccer League. Masters also played for Colchester United during the 1991-1992 English season, where his team won the FA Trophy final. In 1992, he earned one cap with the U.S. national team. Masters grew up on Long Island, graduating from The Wheatley School in 1985 before attending Williams College, where he played soccer and basketball.
