Mike Noble Biography
Mike Noble (17 September 1930 – 15 November 2018) was a British comic artist and illustrator. He is known for his work on Fireball XL5, a popular TV series in the 1960s. Born in London, Noble showed artistic talent from a young age. After studying commercial art at South West Essex Technical College and School of Art, he joined an advertising studio at the age of 17. Noble served in the 8th Royal Tank Regiment during his National Service and later spent three years in the Territorial Army, utilizing his artistic skills to create military graphics. He worked at Cooper's Studio in London before making a name for himself in the comic industry.
