Milo Yiannopoulos (né Hanrahan; born 18 October 1984) is a British right-wing political commentator and former editor of Breitbart News. Known for his controversial speeches and writings, Yiannopoulos criticizes Islam, feminism, social justice, and political correctness. He gained prominence during the Gamergate controversy while working at Breitbart from 2014 to 2017. In 2016, he was permanently banned from Twitter for online harassment. Subsequently, he was banned from Facebook in 2019. Leaked emails revealed that Yiannopoulos solicited white nationalists for story ideas and editing suggestions. Yiannopoulos has faced accusations of advocating paedophilia due to controversial statements he made in video clips. He remains a controversial figure in the political commentary sphere.
