Miranda Wilson, also known as Cheryl-Ann Wilson, is an American actress and dialect coach. Born on September 10, 1960, in Omaha, Nebraska, she showed a passion for acting from a young age, participating in nine stage productions during high school. Wilson pursued her love for the arts by earning a four-year Fine Arts degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a major in Theatre Arts and an emphasis on Acting. In 1984, she gained recognition for her role as the villainess Megan Hathaway DiMera on the NBC soap opera, Days of Our Lives. Wilson's performance captivated viewers as Megan's true identity as the daughter of supervillain Stefano DiMera was revealed. Following her time on Days of Our Lives, she auditioned for the contract role of Kate Wells on Capitol, working opposite other talented actors.
